Covid: What to take into account when entering the United States?
To enter any city in the US, passengers must present a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours before boarding and a 10-day quarantine upon arrival, or vaccination certification. In turn, a health affidavit FORM must be filled out. Miami Airport offers rapid PCR and antigen tests with results in 15 minutes and PCR tests with results in 40 minutes. There is a facility in Central Terminal Room E on the Arrivals level exiting Gate 11. For the costs of each test or to schedule an appointment, call 305-869-1161. Another test facility is located in Terminal Sur, near the Concourse H TSA checkpoint on the departures level (gate 20). How to move between the terminals and the central station?
The MIA Mover is a free train that connects passengers to the various lounges of Miami Airport and the central station from which you access the Metrobus, trains and the Rental Car Center. The stop is on the 3rd level between Dolphin and Flamingo Garage.
What’s the best way to get to South Beach?
The Miami Beach Airport Express Bus (line 150) departs every 30 minutes from 6.00 am to 11.40 pm from Central Station to South Beach. It is the budget option ($2.65 USD) with a journey time of 30 minutes. An Uber costs between $15 and $20 and a shuttle (RedCoach) $13
Where to wait for the UBER?
Ride-sharing apps such as Uber or Lyft have passenger collection areas at the Arrivals level (1) in the middle and outside the gates 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 15, 20 and 23.
What to do in case a long layover?
If you have a connecting flight of several hours, Miami Airport has many services for your wait: more than 200 shops (among shopping shops, cafes and restaurants) many of them available 24 hours a day. In addition to an art gallery, a Yoga room in Terminal H, a prayer room in Terminal D between the international arrivals and the Carousel 22. There is also a beauty salon and Spa with massages on the 2o level of Terminal Sur H and another in Terminal Sur J

The Miami airport has a luggage custody service (5 a.m. to 9 p.m.) on the 2nd level of Central Terminal E. Fares starts from USD 8 per day (fee will depend on the baggage size).
Is there any direct connection between MIA airport and Orlando parks and hotels?
The express bus service RedCoach connects MIA airport to the Orlando, Disney (from $39) and Universal Studios hotel area (from $47). He also goes to Orlando Airport and other Florida locations such as Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Tampa, West Palm Beach and Atlanta, Georgia.
Is there any direct connection to Fort Lauderdale Airport?
In addition to the taxi (USD 40 – 30 min trip), the Redcoach bus takes about the same amount of time, but limited departure options mean you might be waiting a while to catch it (from USD 13).
The Tri-Rail train is the most affordable option (USD 3.75), although it is also the slowest. Since while it is 40 minutes, both stations are located outside their respective airport and require the use of a free shuttle service to leave or enter the terminal. In general, it takes about an hour for the entire trip.
What to do in case of losing personal belongings at the airport?
The airport’s Lost and Found counters are located in North Terminal D – Level 4 and are open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. 6 p.m. or complete the Lost Item Claim Form
Where to find the information desks?
Assistance desks are located at Terminals D, E, H and J, including the main counter at Central Terminal E, Level 2, near the airport hotel. Open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. There are also volunteers scattered throughout the rooms.
Is there free Wifi internet access?
Internet access at Miami Airport is free of charge with advertising. The service is available on the MIA-WiFi Network in all public covered areas of Miami International Airport, including the main terminal, departure gates, luggage collection and the Miami International Airport Hotel.
Are there currency exchange desks in MIA Airport?
There are currency exchange counters in all terminals: on the second level, in the reception areas of each concourse (lobby E 1st level and lobby J 3rd level), and after the security checkpoints: one inside the concourse J and another one in lobby D. There is also a counter in the E Satellite building, open every day from 5:30 am at 11 p.m. There are also ATMs and a Bank of America branch.
How much does it cost to park at MIA Airport?
Parking fees at Miami Airport starts from $2.00 every 20 minutes. Maximum daily rate $17.00.
The maximum rate applies after 2 hours and 40 minutes. It has covered parking (Dolphin Garage concourses D and E and Flamingo Garage concourses F,G, H and J). There is Valet Parking service, reserved spaces for passengers with reduced mobility, waiting lots and parking for electronic vehicles.
Is there any breastfeeding room?
Baby change facilities. Mothers with babies have a quiet private option, through the MIAmamas suites. Units are located in each of MIA’s lobbies, after security. Exclusive sites to feed or sanitize your baby.
Is there a smoking area?
Smoking areas are located outside the terminals at Level 1 (arrivals) and Level 2 (departures) across the street from concourses D, E, F, H and J, and inside concourse D in the TGI Friday smoking lounge near Gate D-36.
